How EU Days began and what they are about?


EU Days emerged from the EU Zone featured during Dubrovnik EXPO, an initiative organised by the Youth Career Center Dubrovnik. The event aims to inform, educate, and connect young people with key institutions and organisations of the European Union. It was born out of the desire to bring EU opportunities closer to young people and the wider community, covering areas such as education, mobility, project funding, and professional development.

EU Days serve as a platform linking the local community with European institutions, organisations, and programs. Key participants include institutions such as the European Parliament Liaison Office in Croatia, the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs, and many others, alongside local organisations that actively contribute to community development.

The goal of EU Days is to inspire young people to explore European opportunities through interactive activities, educational workshops, panels, and networking. By doing so, it provides them with the tools needed for career growth and active engagement in society.
